Education dept. instructs schools to initiate action against Balrath defaulters
Panaji: October 15, 2016:
The Directorate of Education informs that under the Balrath Scheme, the Aided Educational Institutions were given Balrath buses.
According to the scheme, the Management of aided Institutions were required to engage bus drivers and attendants on contract basis for about 2 to 3 hours per day for transportation of students. Some organizations are creating a situation whereby the normal functioning of Balrath buses is hampered so as to get their demand satisfied at the cost to students.
In this regard, the Director of Education Department informed to all the Management of Aided Schools having Balrath buses to take stern action against defaulting persons. The Department will not make any compromise in this regard. This has to be ensured by the School Management at their end.
